The 1st quarter of the year is officially over, are you ahead, on track, or behind to reach your goals? If not, what actions should you be taking? If you are ahead or on track, I applaud you. I give you 9 questions that you should ask yourself, to get an idea of where you are in your business in relationship to where you want to be.

Welcome to another episode of Real Estate Success Mastery TV, today is pretty much the end of the 1st quarter of this year. Me and you are going to go over where you currently are, in relationship to where you want to be and what adjustments you must make right now in order for your to reach your goal. Look, I have 9 questions that I want you to write down.

Question 1: What is your income goal for 2015?
Then I want you to go ahead and divide that by four. The reason I want you to do that is because there are 4 quarters in a year and now we are at the end of the first quarter. So basically, whatever that number is, you should be at that number today.

Question 2: Am I on track? Yes/No?
Based on that number, you are going to fall under three categories. If you are ahead of track, I applaud you and say good job. Maybe you are just on track, if that is the case, then I am also going to applaud you and say good job. Then maybe you are off track, and I am going to tell you it doesn’t matter which of the three categories you fall into.

Let me tell you why, in doing this in the last 15 years and being on over 20,000 one one one coaching sessions, many times people will be ahead of their goals, but then 9 months down the road they don’t end of reaching their goal. Then there are people who are behind in this stage of the game and do not only meet their goal, but exceeding it. So the bottom line is, it doesn’t matter where you are now, rather what you are going to be doing in the next 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 months.

Question 3: What percentage of the goal did you reach?
This is speaking to those who are definitely not on track and you know what, most people would definitely not be on track at this stage.

Question 4: What got in the way?
So for you who is not on track to reach the goal so far, what got in the way? I’m not going to give you any ideas here, you should know what most likely got in the way. So I want you to really think deep, be as specific as you possibly can and identify what got in the way. This is critically important because what got in the way, can get in the way later, and we have to learn how we can overcome that.

Question 5: What could I have done differently, that would have allowed me to reach more of my goal?
Different people will come up with different answers here. Some people will say they could have done a little more lead generation, some will say I should have perfected my lead follow up system, some will say I should have spent a little more time perfecting my skillset. I don’t know what it is, but find out what you could have done differently that would have allowed you to reach more of your goal.

Question 6: What are the things I resisted the most so far this year?
This is a big one and a game changer for a lot of people. Take this question seriously, it could have been lead generation, going on specific appointments, meetings, seminars, I don’t know what it is exactly for you, it could have been working out, one of many things. What is it specifically that you resisted the most this year?

Question 7: What would overcoming this resistant, ultimately do for me and my business?
For example, if your resistance is doing lead generation, what would overcoming that ultimately do for your business? The answer is obvious, I’m going to set more appointments, therefore taking more listings, therefore picking up more buyers, making more sales, therefore making more money, therefore having more options and freedom.

Question 8: How often did I review my business plan in the course of the last 90 days?
Remember you came into this year excited, you had the right plan, the right action, and made big promises to yourself. Then what happened is you put your business plan away and you don’t review your business plan, then you fall away from the plan. We don’t reach the goal and then we ask ourselves what happened? You weren’t reviewing your plan as often as you possibly should. I did a video a while ago on how to create a one page business plan to keep it nice and simple.

Question 9: If I could go back in time, 30, 60, 90 days and relive the first 90 days, what is the one thing I can do day in and day out that I did not previously do that would have the greatest impact on my business?
Whatever that one thing is, that is what I want you to commit to it for the next 90 days, because you have already identified that you benefit in your business.

So we’ve identified 9 questions, hopefully you have written them down and answered them completely.

Usually I would stop here, but I am going to go beyond that. There are four questions that I want every single one of you to write down. These could be the game changers in if you reach your goals or not, these are simple.

1) In order for me to reach my goal, what do I need to start doing?
See there are certain things that you know you should be doing, that you are not doing, that if you actually began to do, it would equal more results. The response could be business related or personal, it doesn’t matter. This is due to sometimes things in our personal life dictates how we perform in our business life.

2) What do I need to stop doing?
There are certain things that you are doing now that are not having any strong impact on your business and you need to cut it out immediately.

3) What do I need to do more of?
See there are certain things you are doing that is positively impacting you, you just need to do more of it.

4) What do I need to do less of?
What are you doing that is giving you a bad return on investment?

I would schedule 30 minutes for myself, take a hard look at the answers, and recreate another plan of action that you will be committed to for the next 90 days.
