AUDIO VERSION ONLY:

I want you to really take this episode very seriously and to really get your attention I want to share some statistics with you.

Here they are:

48% of sales people never follow up with a prospect

25% of sales people make a second contact and stop

12% of sales people only make three contacts and stop

only 10% of sales people make more than three contacts

2% of sales are made on the 1st contact

3% of sales are made on the second contact

5% of sales are made on the 3rd contact

10% of sales are made on the 4th of contact

80% of sales are made on the 5th to 12th contact

WoW … Those are very interesting facts and if anything the least you should take away from those stats is that persistent is key and if you do your lead follow up as you should, you will grow your business.

Now that we have your attention.

I want you to make a super large commitment right now and that is that you are going to be doing a 100% of your lead follow up every single day no matter what.

It is a lot easier than you think when you actually turn lead follow up into a system like any other system that you have in your business.

Let help you with that.

I want you to have 3 blocks of time for lead follow up in your schedule for a few reasons
a. If it is not in your schedule than it does not exist and wont get done.

b. if you are a flake and full of excuses you will most likely not make the same excuse three times in one day and you will actually follow up on your leads.

c. and if you are a 100% committed which I hope that you are than you will be following on your leads more often, setting more appointments, taking more listings etc.

2. Use a Lead Follow Up Sheet and never have more than 10 leads on that sheet.

3. Be outcome driven in all the lead follow up that you do.

4. Be direct and aggressive

5. Be assumptive

6. Pin them down to a specific time frame

7. Do not remind them of the last time frame they gave you

8. Dont let them off the hook with vague answers

9. Set an Appointment.
