Hello and welcome to this new episode of Real Estate Success Mastery TV.

I would like to begin todays episode #53 by saying Happy New Year.

I know what you are thinking, what is this guy nuts its only October 1st.

You see I say happy new year because what we know is that real estate works in 90 days cycles … meaning what you do now will most likely turn into something in the next 90 days and with that said what you do today you most likely will not get paid on it till around January of 2015.

So Happy New Year.

On the last episode I shared with you that there are 11 disciplines that you should be placing a huge of focus on developing now, in the 4th to quarter to guarantee the following in your business.

A strong finish to 2014 and
An excellent beginning for 2015.
Starting today and for the next 11 episodes

Each episode is going to expand on one of the 11 disciplines.

Now i know for many of you the word discipline is a word that you give resistance to because for most discipline means NO FUN …

Let me repeat what i just said … FOR MOST OF YOU DISCIPLINES MEANS NO FUN.

Now on the reverse side of that i say for a few of you the word discipline means FREEDOM.

Let me explain … if we look at the whole sales person population in all sales industries, most are running their life and their business based on how they feel, what they feel like doing and not based on what they know they must be doing and this is exactly why most salespeople only make enough money to just get buy.

Now again on the flip side, a few in every industry like lets say the top 5%, those are the ones that usually have the most amount of business, make the most amount of money and are enjoying a killer lifestyle.

And I am here to tell you today that those are the ones that will tell you over and over again the Discipline equals freedom and the freedom that they have in their business and in their life is a result of the disciplines that they have developed.

This is why I am committed 12 episodes of real estate success mastery to drill in your head the importance of it so you can put it in place, develop it and start to enjoy more freedom.

This weeks topic is The Discipline of Staying on Schedule.

Easier said than done, right?

Yup, you are right, everything is easier said than done and most likely will not get done until you fully Make A Commitment to doing something about it.

So go ahead and Make That Commitment Right Now.

Will you?

Did you?

Okay than lets keep moving forward.

The discipline of staying on schedule.

The first thing you have to do is create a schedule that you can stick to.

In real estate most people do not have a schedule, they set appointments but they do not have a schedule.

If they have an appointment they will move everything in their life and in their business to accommodate that part of their schedule so in essence they are good at following a schedule its just that it is a very poor and very limited schedule that they have, if any at all.

So let me walk you through a few step process that I want you to follow beginning today so you can start developing the discipline to stay on your new schedule.

Keep track of everything you do each day for one entire week.
For the next one week keep track of everything you do each hour on the hour and then at the end of each day take a look at what you did as a whole and you will begin to see exactly where your time is being spent and you will once and for all realize just how much time you are wasting each day on things that do not move your business forward. After you do this for one week than you can move on to step #2

2. Split up each day in 5 different categories.

A. Family

B. Physical / Mental

C. Business Building

D. Business Servicing

E. Anything else that is important to you.

3. At the end of each day, answer this question.

What is the most important thing I have to do tomorrow in each of the 5 categories.

4. Schedule each thing on the schedule.

5. Track your schedule.

Each time you are supposed to do a certain something in your schedule during a block of time, if you did it, check it off and if you did not do it, than next to it right down what you did instead of what you were committed to do, reason being, that way you can see clearly what you allowed to get in the way. This way you can address it, and do something about it.

BONUS POINT #6

Find someone to hold you accountable to your schedule.

Look the bottom line is that you know since the beginning of time that you must develop a schedule and stick to it and if you do you will become super successful.

I know that many of you are going to keep on saying that it is easer said than done.

Stop saying that to yourself because you are really selling yourself that this is really when it is not for the person who is living the life of your dreams, you are so good at selling that you are selling yourself short, stop it and take action now.

Lets recap.

Keep track of everything you do each day for one entire week.
